“No one who has left anything for My sake and for the Gospel will go without receiving a hundredfold… and eternal life.”
Jesus never hides the truth. Following Him includes sacrifices, misunderstandings, and even persecutions. But He assures us that nothing given to God is ever wasted.
Many parents sacrifice for their children. Many workers sacrifice comfort for their families. Many faithful Catholics sacrifice time for prayer, service, and honesty. Sometimes we feel tired and unnoticed.
But today Jesus reminds us:
Every sacrifice made with love has eternal value.
In the First Reading from First Epistle of Peter, St. Peter calls us to holiness:
“Be holy, because I am holy.”
