Opening Line:

Sometimes the strongest faith grows out of the deepest questions.

Today, on the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, we often remember him as “Doubting Thomas.” But perhaps that is unfair. Thomas was not refusing to believe—he was searching for a faith that was real. And Jesus did not reject him for his doubts. Instead, He came to him with patience, love, and peace.

Notice that Jesus did not begin by saying, “Thomas, why didn’t you believe?” Instead, His first words were, “Peace be with you.” Before correcting Thomas, Jesus healed his heart. That is how God deals with us. He does not shame us for our struggles. He meets us where we are and gently leads us closer to Himself.
