May we have the courage to choose Jesus every day, carry our crosses with love, and become instruments of His peace and mercy in the world.
Father Ruben Galang,CRS (Somascan Fathers)

“Wash yourselves clean! Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes; cease doing evil; learn to do good.”

God desires not only our prayers and sacrifices but a heart that is truly transformed. True discipleship is not simply about external actions; it is about allowing God to change our hearts.

Jesus says:

“Whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.”

The cross is part of every disciple’s journey. Each person has his own cross: struggles, sacrifices, responsibilities, and moments of suffering. But the cross becomes meaningful when it is carried with love and united with Christ.

A disciple does not lose his life by giving it to God. Instead, he discovers the true meaning of life. The world teaches us to protect ourselves and seek our own comfort, but Jesus teaches us that real happiness is found in self-giving love.

The Gospel also reminds us that God sees every small act of kindness:
