Jesus is present among us today. Perhaps we carry wounds that others cannot see—guilt, loneliness, disappointment, fear, or sadness. The Lord invites us to come to Him without fear.

My dear brothers and sisters, In today’s Gospel, a leper comes to Jesus and says:

“Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”

This man was not only suffering from a skin disease. He was living a life of rejection. People avoided him. Nobody wanted to touch him. He was separated from his family, his community, and even from public worship.
