Daily Catholic Reflection; 31 May 2026, Sunday

This week, become a living reflection of the Trinity. Bring peace where there is conflict, kindness where there is hurt, and unity where there is division.
Father Ruben Galang,CRS (Somascan Fathers)

What does this mean for our daily lives?

It means that we are created in the image of a God who is communion. Therefore, we become more like God when we live in love, unity, forgiveness, and self-giving. Every time a husband and wife remain faithful to each other, every time family members reconcile after a misunderstanding, every time neighbors help one another, the life of the Trinity is reflected on earth.

The opposite is also true. Division, selfishness, pride, and hatred distort the image of God within us. The Trinity teaches us that true greatness is found not in domination but in loving relationships.

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we invoke the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We do it so often that we may forget its meaning. Yet it is a powerful reminder that our entire life begins, continues, and ends in the embrace of the Triune God.

Today, let us thank God for allowing us to share in His divine life. We may never fully understand the mystery of the Trinity, but we can experience it whenever we love as God loves.

Closing Challenge:

This week, become a living reflection of the Trinity. Bring peace where there is conflict, kindness where there is hurt, and unity where there is division.
