Daily Catholic Reflection; 28 May 2026

My dear brothers and sisters, perhaps today Jesus is passing through the “roads” of our lives. This is not the time to remain spiritually blind or silent. This is the time to call upon Him with trust.
Father Ruben Galang,CRS (Somascan Fathers)

And after Bartimaeus received his sight, he did not go back to his old life. The Gospel says: *“He followed Jesus on the way.”* Real healing always leads to discipleship. When Jesus changes our hearts, we cannot remain the same.

My dear brothers and sisters, perhaps today Jesus is passing through the “roads” of our lives. This is not the time to remain spiritually blind or silent. This is the time to call upon Him with trust.

Because the Lord who opened the eyes of Bartimaeus can also open our hearts, restore our hope, and lead us toward a new life.

Concluding Prayer:

Lord Jesus, open the eyes of our hearts. Heal our blindness, strengthen our faith, and teach us to follow You faithfully on the road of life.

Amen.
