That is also our prayer today:
“Lord, help me to see again.”
* To see the blessings I often take for granted.
* To see the pain of others with compassion.
* To see my sins with humility.
* To see Your presence even in difficult moments.
In the First Reading, St. Peter reminds us to cast all our anxieties upon the Lord because He cares for us. The devil may try to discourage and weaken us, but faith in Christ gives us strength and hope. Like Bartimaeus, we must keep crying out to Jesus and never give up. Even when the world tells us to be silent, faith tells us to keep calling on the Lord.
