Today, many voices compete for our attention. Like the crowd in the Gospel, we can know religious facts without truly surrendering our lives to Jesus. St. Boniface teaches us that authentic faith is more than knowledge; it is courageous discipleship.

Readings:

2 Tim 3:10-17; Ps 119; Mk 12:35-37

Opening Line:

The truth of Christ is not only something to believe—it is something worth living for, and even dying for.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus challenges the crowd’s limited understanding of the Messiah. They knew the Scriptures, but they did not yet fully recognize who Jesus truly was. Christ invites them—and us—not merely to know about Him, but to encounter Him as Lord.
