Many of us face our own droughts: worries about family, health, finances, vocation, or the future. We may wonder where God is. Today’s readings assure us that God has not abandoned us. He may not always provide in the way we expect, but He always provides what we truly need.
The Beatitudes are not merely promises for heaven; they are a way of living now. When we choose humility instead of pride, mercy instead of revenge, purity instead of compromise, and faith instead of despair, we begin to experience the joy of God’s Kingdom even today.
Challenge for the Day:
Ask yourself: Where is God inviting me to trust Him more deeply today? Like Elijah, remain faithful. Like the saints, live the Beatitudes. God will take care of the rest.
Concluding Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach us to trust Your providence in every circumstance. Help us to live the Beatitudes with courage and faith, knowing that true happiness is found in You alone. Amen.
